BUILT TO BE FOUND

Web Design & Build

Most websites are designed, built, signed off, and only then handed to someone who is asked to make them rank. By that point the URL structure is set, the content renders client-side, and the fixes that would have been free during the build have become a quarter of work.

We build sites where that never happens, because the people who own the search outcome are in the room from the first wireframe.

The work

What this actually involves.

01

Structure before pixels

URL architecture, template hierarchy and internal linking decided at the wireframe stage. These are the decisions that are nearly free to make correctly and expensive to change once a few hundred pages exist.

02

Design that survives extraction

Layouts that read well to a person and cleanly to a parser. Real headings rather than styled divs, content in the HTML rather than assembled by script, and text that still makes sense when a passage is lifted out of it.

03

Built for Core Web Vitals

Server-rendered by default, images sized and formatted properly, and no above-the-fold content that waits on JavaScript to become visible. Performance is a build decision, not a plugin.

04

Content model that scales

A CMS structure your team can actually publish into, with the fields that matter for search and structured data built into the model rather than pasted into a rich-text box.

05

Launch without the crater

If the build replaces an existing site, it runs through the full migration process — baseline, redirect map, staging QA, launch monitoring. A redesign is a migration whether or not anyone calls it one.

What you get

Deliverables

Scoped per engagement. This is the standard set — the specifics get agreed against what your baseline turns up.

  • Information architecture and URL structure
  • Design system and page templates
  • Front-end build, server-rendered and performance-budgeted
  • CMS content model and editor training
  • Structured data implemented at the template level
  • Migration plan and launch monitoring where a site is being replaced

Questions

Web Design & Build FAQ

01Do you only build sites for SEO clients?

No, but it is where we are most useful. If you want a site built with no interest in it being found, a design studio will likely give you something more visually adventurous. Our advantage is that the search and AI-visibility thinking is in the build rather than bolted on afterwards.

02What do you build on?

It depends on what you need to maintain. We work in modern server-rendered stacks by default, and with established CMS platforms where your team needs a familiar editing experience. We will recommend based on who has to run the site after we leave, not on what we prefer.

03Will a redesign hurt our rankings?

It can, badly, and it is the most common way sites lose organic traffic overnight. Any redesign that changes URLs is a migration and gets treated as one — baseline, page-by-page redirect mapping, staging QA and launch-window monitoring are part of the build, not an upsell.

04Can you work with our existing designer?

Yes. A common split is that your designer owns the visual direction while we own the structure, the build and the search implications — with a review step so a design decision that would quietly cost you rankings gets flagged before it ships.
